Courtney and Robert had an awesome Christmas wedding at El Paraiso Mexican Restaurant here in Lake Havasu. Not one for flowers, Courtney wanted all greenery for her wedding. Nothing better than Christmas greens for a Dec wedding!
Courtney’s bouquet was a hand tied bouquet made with Princess Pine and Cedar greenery. To differentiate her from her bridesmaids we added some seasonal red ilex berry branches in her bouquet and finished it with a satin ribbon stem wrap. I wish you could have smelled how amazing these Christmas greens were!
Courtney’s two bridesmaids held bouquets very similar to hers made with Princess Pine and Cedar greenery stem wrapped with a satin ribbon.
Robert wore a boutonniere that matched his brides bouquet made with pine and cedar and ilex berry. The two groomsmen, fathers and ring bearer all wore small boutonnieres made with both pine and cedar greenery.
The sweet little flower girl wore a crown made with cedar greenery, babys breath and burgundy and white streamers hanging down. So cute! Loved the greenery in this head crown!
The moms wore wrist corsages made with white spray roses, both cedar and pine greenery and a black bow.
Finally the reception! In keeping with her all greenery feel, I placed a Christmas greenery garland along the head table with clear glass vase to place the bridal and bridesmaids bouquets in.
The centerpieces were a collaboration Courtney and I worked on together. Each table had a wood slab in the center. On the wood slab was a clear rectangle bud vase with a tall red ilex berry stem inside. Next on the slab was a small silver mirrored mason jar filled with a variety of Pine and Cedar Christmas greens and then finally mason jars filled with fairy lights. I think the combination of these three pieces on the wood slab made for a very lovely winter wedding centerpiece.
