Kimberly and Mitchel’s wedding was so much fun to do! I was so excited to be tasked to create a Winter Wonderland and loved every minute creating the pieces and smelling the incredibly fragrant cedar!! I also loved that I got the opportunity to travel a bit for this wedding and head to Julian, CA! What a beautiful little city (but boy was it cold at the beginning of January)!

Kimberly’s awesome bouquet was made with my favorite burgundy roses (Black Magic), white spray roses, brunia silver, pine cones, lambs ear, iced branches, seeded eucalyptus, noble pine and cedar! Man did this bouquet smell amazing with all the winter greens!!!

Kimberly’s 11 bridesmaids (yes 11) carried small bouquets made with white roses, burgundy hypericum berry, Nobel pine and cedar. So simple yet so pretty!

Mitchel wore a boutonniere made with white spray rose buds and cedar greenery, while his 8 groomsmen wore boutonnieres made with red spray roses buds and cedar greenery.

The moms wore wrist corsages made with burgundy spray roses buds, cedar greenery and a gold bow. The grandmothers wore pin-on corsages with the same flowers and greenery.

The ceremony took place on a ridge that overlooked the valley, so gorgeous! The ceremony décor included a wooden arch that was adorned with a winter greenery garland with white hydrangea, red roses and iced branches. The aisle was lined with 2 long greenery garlands made with winter greens, wooden tree stumps and lanterns! I loved that at the ceremony site they also had a hot chocolate bar, hand warmers and blankets to help keep their guests warm!

Cocktail hour and dancing took place on a lower level of the venue down a stone staircase that was adorned loose Christmas greenery and lanterns. Each cocktail table had 1 of 3 different arrangements. The first was a clear cylinder vase filled with fresh cranberries and topped with a round floating candle. The second arrangement was a clear cylinder vase with variety of winter greens along the bottom and surrounding a tall white pillar candle. The third and final cocktail table arrangement was made in a short clear cylinder vase topped with white hydrangea, lambs ear greenery, black magic roses and iced branches sticking out. I loved these!!! One of the best parts about the cocktail area was the ice bar that the couple had! A real bar made out of ice and carved with the initials and date. This awesome feature was one of the families businesses.

The reception took place outside and under a large tent (due to the weather). The tables were Kings tables with greenery garlands made with cedar and pine and adorned with pine cones and iced branches. What a perfect centerpiece for a Winter Wonderland wedding!

Finally the cake! The cake was a semi naked cake that was topped with a wood heart topper and simply adorned with cedar greenery and pine cones! I’m really starting to love semi naked cakes and for this wedding is was perfect with the theme and setting.

Thank you Kimberly and Mitchel for trusting me with your Winter Wonderland wedding! It was truly so fun for me to create! I wish you guys a very happily ever after together!!!
