Dominic and Tasha’s wedding was so fun for me to do! Tasha and I hit it off instantly when we bonded over our shared favorite color, purple! The color scheme we were working with was purples, blue and touches of silver. Tasha knew exactly what she liked and I have to say I think I got pretty darn close to the photos she sent me.

Tasha carried a cascade style bridal bouquet that was made with lavender roses, stem dyed blue dendrobium orchids, touches of misty blue and dark green Italian ruscus. I loved how elegant and dramatic this bouquet was and loved how the orchids really popped! Even more important was that Tasha loved it too!

The two bridesmaids carried hand tied purple and white bouquets that looked incredible against their dark purple dresses. The bouquets were made with dark dark purple carnations, royal purple lisianthus blooms, white spray roses, purple and white mini calla lilies and Italian ruscus greenery. I’m not normally one for carnations but I loved how they gave the illusion of hydrangea in this bouquet! Tasha’s two brides men matched the bridesmaids and wore a purple and white mini calla lily boutonniere with Italian ruscus greenery.

Dominic wore a boutonniere matched his bride and was made with a lavender rose, blue orchid blooms and Italian ruscus greenery.

Dominic and Tasha got married on the sand at the beautiful Nautical Resort, so the bamboo ceremony arch was the perfect choice. I made a floral piece that hung on the top left side that was made with lavender roses, blue dendrobium orchids, misty blue and Italian ruscus greenery. I loved how this looked with the lake behind it! So pretty!

Finally, for the reception Tasha and I collaborated and decided on two different centerpieces. We wanted to bring in both the blue and the purple, and she wanted something simple yet elegant. The first centerpiece was made in a clear tall glass cylinder with silver gems on the bottom and two submerged purple and white calla lilies. The second centerpiece mirrored the first centerpiece but had blue dendrobium orchid submerged.

What a fun wedding for a sweet couple! I thank them for trusting me and wish them a long and happy life together!
