Chris and Joelle’s wedding took place at a gorgeous private home in Upland, California! Joelle has been my best friend since high school so not only was I the florist for this wedding, but I was the maid of honor! Needleless to say I was busy that day but I wouldn’t have it any other way! Joelle’s style is always elegant and rustic so her flower choices came as no surprise to me! Joelle’s bridal bouquet was gorgeous, made with white hydrangea, Sahara roses and green succulents; elegant meets rustic. Chris’ boutonniere matched the beautiful bride and was a Sahara rose with a succulent bloom. The Bridesmaids all carried bouquets of white hydrangea and succulents. What a beautiful combination against our black dresses. Chris’ Groomsmen wore boutonnieres made with a succulent bloom.
For the entry piece I created a gorgeous Manzanita tree. The bottom of the container was a floral piece created with white hydrangea, Sahara roses and succulents while the branches were decorated with Sahara roses, succulents and hanging burlap wrapped containers that held flameless candles. Stunning!!! One of my favorite pieces!
The reception centerpieces were all the same flowers for three different size and shape mercury glass containers. The flowers for these mercury glass containers were white hydrangea with succulents. The cake was decorated with dark purple ribbon around the three tiers. I just added some succulents to the top and on the tiers to finish the look.
What a gorgeous wedding for one of my favorite people! I loved the elegant, romantic and rustic look we created!
