Aric and Yumi had a beautiful Orthodox Jewish wedding at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Beverly Hills. The color scheme for this wedding was a very romantic lavender and cream. Yumi was such a fun bride to work with and was totally open to ideas I had. The entire feel of the wedding was created around a picture of a chuppah adorned with phaleonopsis orchids that we both fell in love with! I was so excited to get to make this!!

Yumi’s bridal bouquet was made with white hydrangea and cymbidium orchid blooms and lavender and white dahlias. The chuppah was decorated with three floral pieces, 1 in the middle and 1 on each side of the chuppah. These pieces were made with white phaleonopsis orchids and tea leaves. White phaleonopsis orchids plants also stood in front of the polls.

For the reception flowers we again went with elegant orchids. Half of the tables were arrangements of phaleonopsis orchid plants in a white ceramic pot with curly willow twigs and purple ribbon, and the other half of the tables were lily bowls sitting on top round mirrors with bear grass and a floating orchid bloom inside. Yumi also didn’t want to be wasteful so we re-used the chuppah flowers to decorate the challah and the head table.

This was such an elegant Los Angeles wedding and such an amazing bride to work with!
